<p><strong>1. Wi-Fi 6的登场</strong></p>
<p>Wi-Fi的新标准IEEE802.11ax现已被制定,并被命名为“Wi-Fi 6”。</p>
<p>由于它具有通过多值调制(1024QAM)提高最快传输速度,以及通过向多个用户有效分配数据包的技术(OFDMA)对抗拥堵环境等特点,因此有望被应用于车站、机场等过度拥挤的场所的公共Wi-Fi。</p>
<p>但是,由于多值调制(1024QAM)还具有更易受噪声影响的一面,因此与以往的标准相比,降噪措施将有可能变得更为重要。</p>

<p><strong>2. 确认EVM的容许误差</strong></p>
<p>Wi-Fi 6可能存在的噪声问题是发射性能和接收特能的下降。</p>
<p>EVM是用于表示发射特性的参数,按照标准要求,虽然在设计时将EVM定为-35dB以下,但由于周围环境中的噪声的影响,实际数值可能会比设计值更低。如下图所示,我们使用Wi-Fi 6的模块进行测量,并查看了在1024QAM的通信条件下,EVM劣化的可容许范围。</p>

<p><strong>3. EVM的容许误差的确认结果</strong></p>
<p>下图为“对比PER和EVM”的测量结果。</p>
<p>通过结果可知,如果将满足通信规范的标准定为PER(数据包错误率)在10%以下,则在1024QAM的条件下,EVM就必须为-29dBm以下。</p>

<p>此时EVM和发射波形的信噪比的关系如下图所示。</p>
<p>通过结果可知,即使1024QAM的设计符合EVM为-35dBm的标准,如果信噪比在此基础上劣化5dB,通信将会变得很困难。</p>
<p>与在64QAM的条件下需要12dB的余量相比条件更为苛刻,降噪措施也就变得更为重要。</p>

<p>可能产生噪声的原因包括Bluetooth<sup>®</sup>、模块信号、高速I/F信号、DC-DC转换器等。</p>

<p><strong>噪声侵入5GHz频段</strong></p>
<p>Wi-Fi 6支持2.4GHz和5GHz两个频段,但在2.4GHz频段的前端加入0.1到1GHz左右的噪声(如DC-DC转换器的开关噪声等)时,会产生干扰5GHz频段的三阶互调失真。</p>
<p>三阶互调失真通过电源线等传输到5GHz频段前端后,就会干扰通信。</p>
<p>这可能是由于在主设备上与使用2.4 GHz频段的Wi-Fi的设备进行通信,或在子设备上同时使用Bluetooth®所造成的。</p>

<p>此外,随着USB Tye-C接口的普及,支持USB3.1的功能也有所增加,由于USB3.1的信号频率接近2.4GHz频段,因此它也被视为降低Wi-Fi接收灵敏度的原因。</p>
